Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate dental records
- Provide chairside support and post-operative instructions
- Order inventory and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Perform basic lab tasks such as pouring models and crowns
Qualifications
- Active RDA certification or DANB certification required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) systems
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Eaglesoft or DentalEZ software preferred
- CPR certification required
