Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, crowns, and endodontics
- Perform chairside support and four-handed dentistry with precision
- Take and develop dental radiographs while ensuring patient safety
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization of instruments
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate with front desk staff for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Current RDA/CDA certification and California X-ray license
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental board regulations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification
