Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Perform sterilization and instrument preparation protocols
- Capture diagnostic X-rays and maintain patient records
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Deliver post-op instructions and patient education
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain clinic hygiene standards
- Assist with digital charting using Dentrix/Eaglesoft systems
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA license required
- 2+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in radiography and infection control
- Strong communication and patient rapport skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced settings
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Experience with dental imaging software (Dentrix preferred)
