Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgeries
- Perform chairside support with four-handed dentistry techniques
- Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays using digital imaging systems
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Manage patient records and schedule coordination using Dentrix software
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory management
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or Radiology license in Oklahoma
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography (X-ray) and sterilization equipment
- CPR certification required
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to manage patient anxiety
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Experience with dental practice management software (Epic/Dentrix preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
