Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments including restorative and surgical procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital radiography systems
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilize equipment
- Update patient records and maintain digital documentation
- Order dental supplies and manage inventory efficiently
Qualifications
- Active Maryland Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
