Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs with digital imaging technology
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal sterilization protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate digital patient records using Dentrix software
- Perform lab tasks including crown/bridge fabrication and impressions
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant certification (DAEFB or DANB)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control procedures
- CPR/BLS certification maintained
- Excellent chairside manner and communication skills
- Knowledge of OSHA and dental board regulations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in fast-paced environment
