Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols for all instruments
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments efficiently
- Assist with dental laboratory tasks including crown and bridge fabrication
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order necessary materials
Qualifications
- Accredited dental assisting program certification or equivalent experience
- Current Kansas dental assistant license or eligibility
- CPR certification and radiology certification
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management software
- Excellent communication skills and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Strong attention to detail and infection control compliance
