Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Take dental X-rays and process digital radiographs
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments efficiently
- Assist with restorative procedures and emergency care
- Ensure operatory cleanliness and inventory management
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or NJ licensed Dental Assistant
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software
- X-ray certification and radiography experience
- CPR/BLS certification required
