Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Take dental radiographs and update patient records
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling and billing
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or RDA license (Texas)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
