Responsibilities
- Process and submit clean medical claims to insurance carriers
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Code diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS
- Resolve claim denials and payment discrepancies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Generate monthly billing reports for financial analysis
- Collaborate with clinical teams for accurate documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Proficiency in medical billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with flexible schedules
