Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical treatments
- Perform dental radiography (X-rays) and process digital images
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for procedures
- Take impressions and pour study models for lab work
- Monitor patient vitals and administer post-operative care instructions
- Manage digital patient records using Eaglesoft software
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or graduate of accredited program
- Tennessee Dental Assistant license current and in good standing
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Exceptional patient communication skills
