Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Take dental X-rays and perform preliminary patient assessments
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Document patient records accurately and maintain digital charts
- Provide post-procedure instructions and patient education
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling and billing
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current Michigan dental radiology certification
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- CPR certification (BLS preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
