Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA standards
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital imaging technology
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft practice management software
- Provide chairside support and comfort to anxious patients
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and inventory management
- Ensure operatory cleanliness and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
