Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Coordinate patient scheduling and communication
- Assist in emergency dental procedures
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or New Mexico dental assistant license
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience
- Proficiency in digital imaging software (e.g., Dexis)
- CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
