Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including four-handed dentistry and chairside support
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and care
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for optimal efficiency
- Implement strict sterilization protocols and maintain OSHA compliance
- Manage patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Oversee inventory management and restocking of dental supplies
- Coordinate with front desk staff to ensure seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or RDA credential in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to infection control standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required
