Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during dental procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and patient comfort
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict OSHA compliance
- Manage patient scheduling, digital records, and insurance documentation
- Provide post-operative care instructions and support patient education initiatives
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis/Sidexis preferred)
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
