Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care levels using established triage protocols
- Provide expert medical guidance to patients via phone, telehealth, and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) with detailed clinical documentation
- Handle high-pressure situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Educate patients on treatment plans, home care instructions, and preventive measures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio (required)
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong assessment and decision-making skills in acute care settings
- Excellent communication abilities with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
