Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays and maintain patient records
- Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment areas
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling and billing
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and dental board regulations
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program graduate or equivalent experience
- Active Dental Assistant certification in Georgia (DANB or GA state)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification and current immunizations
