Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls and determine medical urgency using established protocols
- Provide accurate clinical advice and triage recommendations to patients
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions and assessments
- Manage high-volume call centers while ensuring quality care delivery
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years triage or ER experience
- BSN or higher preferred
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic or EHR systems
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
