Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Perform sterilization and instrument maintenance per OSHA standards
- Manage patient records using digital software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- Assist in inventory control and ordering of dental supplies
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education
- Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and operatories
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control protocols
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software preferred
