Responsibilities
- Provide personalized in-home care including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Assist with mobility, medication reminders, and vital sign monitoring
- Operate provided medical equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, oxygen tanks)
- Document client progress and maintain accurate care records
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly and disabled clients
Qualifications
- New York State HHA certification or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Valid NY driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills and empathy
- Background check and health clearance required
