Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize cases using standardized triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely interventions
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems with precision
- Provide telehealth consultations and remote triage services
- Educate patients on home care instructions and follow-up protocols
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and emergency department regulations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license with minimum 3 years emergency department experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- Experience with telehealth platforms preferred
