Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures and routine treatments
- Perform chairside assistance including instrument transfer and suction control
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal equipment functionality
- Document patient records using digital practice management software
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or Ohio Dental Assistant license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
