Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain immaculate operatory standards
- Take dental impressions and expose/develop radiographs
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Delieve patient education on oral hygiene protocols
- Coordinate treatment plans and schedule appointments
- Maintain accurate digital and paper patient records
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or DANB registration
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-rays)
- CPR certification (BLS required)
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Experience with Eaglesoft or dental practice software preferred
