Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs with digital imaging systems
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal chairside efficiency
- Administer infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant diploma or equivalent certification
- Current Indiana Dental Assistant license (or willingness to obtain)
- 2+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
