Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform digital X-rays and intraoral imaging with advanced equipment
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments efficiently
- Take accurate patient medical histories and vital measurements
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
- Coordinate with dental lab technicians for prosthetic cases
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent experience required
- Current Texas radiology license and BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced clinical settings
