Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms with sterile instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with digital imaging
- Manage patient charts and digital records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols (OSHA compliance)
- Take impressions and fabricate temporary crowns
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA license required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
