Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist dentists during procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment areas according to OSHA standards
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and assist in diagnostic procedures
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments efficiently
- Provide post-operative instructions and ensure patient comfort
- Inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Assist with front desk duties when needed
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or Radiology license (required)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to infection control protocols
- Valid Tennessee driver's license (if required for travel between locations)
