Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for dental procedures, ensuring optimal comfort and safety
- Assist dentists during complex treatments including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical procedures
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain OSHA-compliant infection control standards
- Take accurate dental radiographs and digital impressions using advanced equipment
- Administer chairside assistance during exams and treatments
- Manage patient scheduling, recall systems, and digital chart documentation
- Train new team members on practice protocols and equipment usage
Qualifications
- Current Oklahoma Dental Assistant certification and radiology license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental management software
- CPR/BLS certification and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control protocols
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license and reliable transportation
