Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments per OSHA standards
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorations
- Take dental radiographs and maintain accurate digital patient records
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide oxide monitoring
- Manage inventory ordering and restock dental supplies
- Provide chairside support for pediatric and adult patients
- Train new assistants on clinic protocols and software systems
Qualifications
- Current RDA or DA license in California required
- 2+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Certification in dental radiography and coronal polishing
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft and Dexis imaging systems
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
