Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs and manage digital imaging systems
- Perform infection control procedures and maintain a sterile operatory
- Manage patient scheduling, digital records, and billing documentation
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care protocols
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or Radiology license (MO state required)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
