Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations, procedures, and surgeries
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Prepare patients for treatment and maintain accurate dental records
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Perform administrative tasks including scheduling and billing
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Nevada state radiology license required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in dental practice
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and OSHA standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
