Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments using telephone triage protocols
- Provide clinical guidance to patients and family members
- Collaborate with physicians to prioritize emergency cases
- Document patient encounters in EMR systems with 100% accuracy
- Coordinate transfers between facilities and specialty services
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and JC standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active KY RN license (compact license accepted)
- 3+ years ER or urgent care experience
- Current ACLS/BLS certifications
- Telephone triage certification preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience with Epic or Cerner EMR systems
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a)
