Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform precise dental radiography and diagnostic imaging
- Implement rigorous infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Manage patient records using advanced dental software systems
- Provide chairside assistance during all clinical procedures
- Deliver post-treatment instructions and oral hygiene education
- Coordinate patient scheduling and optimize clinical workflows
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal instrument sterilization
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant license required
- Certification from CODA-accredited program preferred
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography and digital imaging
- Expert knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport skills
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Experience with Eaglesoft practice management software
