Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate digital records
- Provide chairside assistance and post-operative care instructions
- Order inventory and manage dental supply inventory efficiently
- Ensure optimal infection control protocols are maintained at all times
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification from accredited program
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft practice management software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
