Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory hygiene standards
- Manage patient records and digital documentation systems
- Provide chairside assistance with complex restorative procedures
- Inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Deliver post-operative care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Excellent knowledge of OSHA and infection control protocols
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
