Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical treatments
- Manage patient flow and ensure sterilization protocols exceed OSHA standards
- Perform digital radiography (X-rays) and intraoral imaging with precision
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour models for prosthetics
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring (certified preferred)
- Maintain digital patient records using Eaglesoft practice management software
- Train new team members on clinical workflows and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification and radiology permit
- Proficiency with digital imaging and practice management software
- Exceptional chairside assisting skills for multi-procedure workflows
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-provider practice
