Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with chairside support.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials according to strict infection control protocols.
- Capture and process digital dental X-rays (radiographs).
- Manage patient records and update clinical charts accurately.
- Maintain strict sterilization and sanitation standards for all equipment.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- DANB Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new grads welcome.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
