Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Assist dentists during procedures (exams, fillings, extractions)
- Take dental X-rays and maintain digital records
- Manage patient scheduling and billing documentation
- Provide post-procedure care instructions
- Order inventory and maintain supply chain
- Ensure OSHA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or RDA license
- 2+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital imaging (X-ray) software
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends
