Responsibilities
- Assist the lead dentist chairside during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Take and develop high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral images.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
- Manage patient records, scheduling, and insurance verification efficiently.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials.
Qualifications
- Current state certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA/RDA) is required.
- Previous experience in a general dentistry setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work well under pressure.
