Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Perform infection control and sterilization protocols
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments
- Provide chairside assistance with suctioning and materials
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate treatment scheduling and insurance verification
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assisting Program graduate or equivalent experience
- Current DANB certification or state registration
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Proficiency in dental radiography techniques
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced settings
- CPR certification (current)
