Responsibilities
- Perform chair-side assisting for general and specialty dentistry.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms according to OSHA standards.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (panoramic, periapical) and intraoral photos.
- Assist in impression taking and fabricating temporary restorations.
- Manage patient check-in, insurance verification, and charting.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Dental Assistant License (NC).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- 1+ years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
