Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Operate digital imaging systems (CBCT, intraoral cameras) and sterilize equipment per OSHA standards
- Manage digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Prepare treatment rooms and instrument trays with provided specialized equipment
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide oxide monitoring (certification required)
- Coordinate patient education using our digital education tools
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order materials through our digital procurement system
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant License (RDA or EFDA preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to infection control protocols
- Strong communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to work efficiently with provided advanced equipment (CAD/CAM, lasers)
