Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument transfer and four-handed dentistry
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments/equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop digital dental radiographs with our modern imaging systems
- Manage patient records and digital charting using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Administer infection control protocols in our state-of-the-art sterilization center
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education materials
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies/equipment
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or Arizona Dental Assistant Radiology license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and OSHA standards
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle multiple priorities
