Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using provided advanced equipment
- Perform digital X-rays and chairside imaging with modern imaging systems
- Manage sterilization protocols and inventory for dental instruments
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient procedures
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate scheduling and communication between patients and clinical staff
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (Oregon Board approved)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification from an accredited provider
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple procedures in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to infection control protocols and OSHA compliance
