Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care coordinators
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a safe environment
- Administer medications as per care plan instructions
- Document client activities and observations accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Ohio driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic life support certification (CPR/First Aid preferred)
- Empathetic and patient demeanor with excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Previous caregiving experience or healthcare training preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
