Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures using advanced digital equipment
- Perform sterilization and instrument processing per OSHA standards
- Take digital radiographs and impressions using modern technology
- Manage patient flow and ensure comfortable treatment experiences
- Update digital records using Eaglesoft practice management software
- Prepare treatment rooms with specialized equipment for various procedures
- Provide post-op instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Dental Assistant license or DANB certification
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience with digital dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and CAD/CAM systems
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently with advanced dental equipment
- Commitment to continuing education in dental technology
