Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and hygienists during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms for each patient.
- Take and develop digital X-rays as directed by the dentist.
- Manage patient records and update dental charts accurately.
- Explain post-operative instructions and oral hygiene care to patients.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent diploma from an accredited program.
- Current state dental assisting license in Nebraska.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
