Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures and general treatments
- Perform dental radiography (X-rays) and sterilize equipment
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure OSHA compliance
- Take impressions and pour dental models
- Administer local anesthetics under supervision
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB/CODA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency with digital imaging and sterilization protocols
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
- Texas state radiology license preferred
- Spanish fluency a plus
