Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Manage digital radiography systems and maintain sterile instrument protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal infection control standards
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Coordinate patient education and post-op care instructions
- Maintain digital patient records and treatment documentation
- Assist in inventory management and ordering dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Certification in radiography and infection control
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or PracticeWorks software
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental safety protocols
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional Saturdays
